Friends,

Happy New Year! What a whirlwind year 2011 was, and after I announced my run for Governor on June 8, the pace only increased. Looking back, I'm so very proud of what our campaign has accomplished and extremely grateful to have you on my team.

I'm writing today to let you know about a new way of communicating that we launched this week, and I want you in on it from the start.

It's called Audingo and it's a way for you to receive personalized messages from me without all the interference. It's a new way of getting in touch that's up-to-date and direct, putting you in control. The messages can be delivered by phone call, text message, e-mail or a mix of all three, and are delivered at the time most convenient for you. I encourage you to use the "talkback" feature, which allows you to leave me your comments about what I said.

The nastiness of political mudslinging harms our democratic process, but we can work to change that. Now when you hear an attack message or an out-of-context soundbite, you can actually do something about it. Audingo makes it easy to share my messages directly with your friends, so you can help spread our positive, solution-focused agenda. Our campaign is the first ever to utilize Audingo, and you'll be able to join me when you sign up for it, too.

Connect with me today by signing up with Audingo to stay in touch as we work together to forge a New Direction for Washington State.
